Humpty Dumpty is a small and friendly pre-school, with charitable status, run by a parental committee in the village of Felbridge. Established in 1968, we have just celebrated our 40 year anniversary.

In 2010 we were awarded the Whats On 4 Littleones 'Best Committee Led Pre-School'

We welcome children between the ages of two and five years of age from all backgrounds, regardless of any special needs they may have.

We aim to offer a stimulating, friendly, caring atmosphere where each child is valued as an individual. Our staff are all mothers with that special understanding of children that comes with parenthood. We encourage parents to become involved in the activities of the pre-school in any way they choose, such as; joining trips to local attractions, attending presentations by the children, helping occasionally at the pre-school or even joining the parent committee.

We are open from 9.15am to 12.15pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during school term time.

The pre-school is registered and regularly inspected by Ofsted. We received a good report following our last inspection in the spring term 2007.

'The pre-school provides good quality care for children. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They plan and provide interesting, stimulating activities and play opportunities to help children learn and develop.'
